About
My name is Chris Neuman. I'm an automotive marketing manager, designer and wannabe blogger living in Metro-West Boston.
Infinite Static is an outlet for my opinions and observations of Apple and related tech. Occassionally you will also find postings related to my other passions of design and automobiles.
Unlike most geeks, I don't run on coffee or energy drinks or tea. Just some good filtered water. I've been eating Paleo since November of 2010 and I've had more energy than I know what to do with. And if, on occassion, I do need an extra energy boost, a bit of 80% artisen chocolate goes a long way.
I currently write Infinite Static on the best laptop in the world, my 13" MacBook Air (replacing my previous 11" MacBook Air for the title). I never thought I would love a laptop as much as my old 12" PowerBook until this one came along. An absolute brilliant piece of engineering.
My inspiration for this blog falls squarely on the shoulders of awesome people like John Gruber, Dan Benjamin, Merlin Mann, Shawn Blanc and Jim Dalrymple just to name a few.
Infinite Static is hosted by the fine folks at SquareSpace. I've used most blogging platforms in the past and SquareSpace is where I finally settled because of it's simplicity, ease of use and piece of mind. I can focus on writing rather than making sure my plug-ins are all up to date or my database is backed up.
